About moderator
LENAHEGEMANN
AI Researcher

Lena Hegemann is a PhD student at Aalto University, specializing in Human-Computer Interaction. Her research focuses on exploring the potential of machine learning to support design. Additionally, Lena is a part of the Silo AI company.

 

👉 As a designer, Lena's goal is to understand the experts who will use the AI system and ensure that the use of AI in their tools is meaningful to them. For instance, designers frequently switch between divergent and convergent thinking and a meaningful interaction supports this.

 

👉 As a researcher, Lena applies machine learning in design tools and investigates novel interaction techniques within these tools.
